How to update CT-3 with standalone firmware
When CT-3 firmware upgrade using PC software fails.
It is possible to update using standalone firmware, please follow the steps below.
Step
0. Download and unzip the independent firmware package at the end of this page (the file name is version number, for example, 10062.zip is V1.00.62)
1. Cut off the power supply of the meter.
2. Turn the trackwheel to the left and hold.
3. Connect the meter to the computer through the connection port (micro-USB port) (at this time, the dial is still pressed to the left).
4. After almost two seconds, the header screen displays the words “Bootlodaer…” and the computer recognizes a disk.
5. You can release the button.
6. Create the “FW” directory in the newly recognized disk and copy the files you just decompressed into it. (Structure such as “u-disk:/FW/…”)
7. Wait for the copy to complete.
8. On the table header, select and enter “Update From Int.Memory”.
9. Wait for the update to complete and then select “Reboot”

Hello, we are interested in Qty 50 immediate, later possibly more. We are 1st interested in if the CT-3 with +Load (sm-ld-00) can be programmed to boot into a 20V 3A 60W contract (if available) and then if the charger is too warm and advertises new, lower power, contracts at 15V 3A 45W then the CT-3 sets the load automatically.
Thank you,

Hello
Your description is a little bit vague making us hard to know your needs.
Could you please check here https://yk-lab.org:666/shizuku/lua-api/lua-api-en-us/index.html to see if your task can be done with the APIs provided?
Is there a chance to get just the most simple functionality, being able to read current consumption of the connected device, working from a Linux system? Measuring consumption under various loads is only useful if possible from scripts, reading it from the display won’t scale.
Hello, I’m looking for a meter for testing of USB solar panels, this looks like a decent candidate, can the meter be powered by other means than from the tested USB power input (e.g. powered via the PC port, not necessarily from PC though) because the tested solar panel will not deliver enough power to power this device during testing.
Does the CT-3 let me vary the voltage to a USB peripheral while also letting me access that device? I need to be able to communicate with the device I am testing.
For example if I had a mouse or USB drive connected to the meter and the meter was connected to my PC, could I vary the voltage to the mouse/USB drive while also using the mouse or accessing the data on the drive?
Hello,
I am using the avhzy ct-3 to collect basic data about the power consomption of raspberry. I am using the app shizuku toolbox to save the data into csv. I am using the basic function. The y axis is the time. The time starts at 0 every time i restart. I would like the tiem to be unix time. Is there any way to do that ?
